The Gathering
In various spots across the country we gather; sometimes in large groups, other times (partly because of our schedules), more one-on-one. We feel that through interacting and listening to one another that we will discover and experience the value of cooperative relationships and new pathways forward. These gatherings are intent on introducing each of us to others who have a hunger to see change take place, their lives count and new communities of faith grow up. While “Gatherings” may take on many forms each will include provocative discussions and presentations, thoughtful readings, an understanding ear and discussions about how we might be faithful to the call of Jesus in today’s world. What goes on there?
We also gather on the internet and through email; whether in-person or as groups, face to face or in chat rooms... we gather. Vision, strategy, ideas and inspiration all flow from this practice of community.
We encourage you to frequent this website. Check out the bulletins and updates telling you where and when these ‘gatherings’ are taking place. We are eager to listen to each of you and to determine with your input how we might best serve you as you engage your world.
