Funding

Churches are diverse. They may be informal, almost hidden gatherings or they may be large, highly organized entities. They may meet in apartments or own large sprawling complexes. They may be made up of homeless people or wealthy people. They may speak English or any number of other languages. They may be illiterate or scholarly. They may be from any political stripe. What they have in common is a relationship with Jesus Christ. They are His followers. They are born of Him, they are His redeemed, they are adopted into the family of God and they are sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise. They are citizens of heaven living on earth. They are part of a kingdom that will never be shaken.
