Application Process
In this section you will find two application processes. One for lower budget planting and one for higher budget planting. Choose the one that best fits your anticipated planting focus.
Lower budget planting processes
- A relationship develops between VMC staff and the planting initiators.
- In this process informal dialogue exploring planting ideas occurs.
- Coaching of the planter or initiators by VMC staff members becomes more regular.
- The services available through VMC are discussed.
- Criteria for access to those services are formalized.
- Agreements required for accessing those services are established.
- Coaching continues.

Higher budget planting processes
- A relationship develops between VMC staff and the planting initiators.
- The planting dialogue becomes more formal.
- VMC helps the initiators of the new church give it more shape and clarity.
- Leadership is identified and roles are defined.
- Detailed plans are put together to facilitate a successful launch.
- VMC staff provides coaching throughout the process.
- Relationship agreements between the new church and VMC are formalized.
- Coaching continues.
