Spiritual Gifts
Which of the Spiritual gifts listed in Scripture do you identify with most strongly?
Spiritual gifts are incredibly diverse! There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all men. (I Corinthians 12:4-6)
- Different kinds of gifts – ok that’s easy
- Different kinds of service – different spheres of ministry in which the same gifts are used?
- Different kinds of working – degrees of influence at different times and places?
Because there is such diversity among us, give yourself a break! You are not like others. You are an original. God is looking for you to trust him and work this out by faith.
- Which gifts are you most oriented toward?
- By the way, just trying things gives you some experience to go by. You can’t resolve this question from a passive posture.

Being somewhat settled on this question will give you a kind of personal ministry job description. But you still need to listen to others, to the Word and to the Spirit.
